
Sebastian Bissinger studied from 1993 to 2000 graphic design at the University of the Arts Bremen with Prof. Eckhard Jung. During his studies he gained experience in workshops with David Carson, Axel Kufus and Fred Frith. As part of his diploma he planned, filmed and realised the promotional video for the Dutch design heroes Studio Dumbar. He won the ‘Certificate of Typographic Excellence’ of the Type Directors Club New York with the 512-pages UNESCO-book ‘Kultur des Friedens’. After a three-month-stay in New York he moved to Berlin in 2002 and co-founded BANK™ in 2004. Sebastian Bissinger teaches design since 7 years.
Laure Boer studied from 2001 to 2006 graphic design and multimedia at the ESAAT Roubaix and the ENSAMAA Paris. After an internship at Why Not Associates in London and some group exhibitions in France she moved to Berlin and became a partner at BANK™ in 2007. She co-founded the female designers group 1/2 (un demi) and is the co-editor of the art magazine of the same name. Un demi is also busy with running workshops as well as doing exhibitions and was invited for a one month artist residency in Georgia in 2013. Un demi won the competition of the state of Austria to design the official stamp ‘Österreich neu zeichnen’. Laure Boer teaches design since 7 years.
